Completed a feasibility study; prepared an RFQ; and acted as Owner’s
Engineer helping the Owner manage a Design-Build Turnkey Contractor for
a retrofit project based on two (2) 80,000 pph boilers raising steam to
650 psig and 800 deg. F, with a condensing economizer and 9 ppm (NOx)
burners.

Business Development based on refurbished gas turbine generators for both
Distributed Generation and Cogeneration projects burning non-standard
fuels. Provided technical support for a 14 MW GTG and on-site (electrical)
supervision of a 3 MW GTG overhaul.

Feasibility Study and Design-Build Turnkey Request for Quotation, as well
as preparation of a draft Energy Services Agreement. Acted as Owners-Engineer
between the Algonquin Power EFW Plant and the adjacent Paper Mill on a
150,000 pph District Heating Project.

Income Fund, Oakville, Ontario
Provision of Due Diligence and technical oversight services, advising
Algonquin Power Income Fund to acquire/buy selected existing power generation
assets, that is, assess if the technology can deliver the proforma. Prime
movers included Westinghouse 251-B4; GE LM6000; GE Frame 6; Solar Taurus
70; Solar Taurus 60; CAT 3516 engines burning landfill gas.
