Biomass/Biogas
CEM has been involved with renewable energy since formation in 2001.
CEM can help you with systems which burn biomass to produce either hot water or steam or electricity and steam. CEM can also help convert digester gas into electricity and hot water or which produce biogas via anaerobic digesters.
Although anaerobic digester systems are often implemented by design-build contractors, CEM is also interested in the thermal and electrical tie-ins between the biogas island and the thermal and/or electrical host.
Examples of clients whom CEM has served via renewable energy include:
- St. Catharines Hydro Generation Inc.
- PlanET Biogas Solutions Inc.
- Chatham-Kent Energy
- Energy Ottawa
- Dawson, Yukon
- Huron County
