Project Services
Project services encompass the work which happens during construction by specialty contractors and following completion of construction. Here again, we draw heavily upon our OEM experience and power plant design experience to help you anticipate issues which arise during construction and commissioning. At this stage, we help you manage for success by ensuring that contractors construct the thermal power system in accordance with our drawings and specifications. Our goal throughout is to keep you out of trouble. It is at this stage that we are particularly helpful to you. Examples of what we define as project services include:
- Ensuring that all required permits and approvals are in place, such as TSSA, ESA, and Certificate of Approval (Air/Noise)
- Project Management Services
- Preparation of and Maintenance of Master Project Schedule
- Management of Project Budget
- Construction Assistance Services, that is, presence at site to answer questions immediately for trades and to ensure that contractors install the right equipment and the right place so that Contemplated Change Order or Project Change Notices are minimized.
- Procurement Assistance Services, such as “tender, evaluate, award, expedite, and inspect”.
- Preparation of a Commissioning Plan
- Management of system commissioning via on-site presence and facilitating between the licensed power engineers and contractor representatives to ensure that this system will start up smoothly.
- Post-Commissioning Audit following both substantial completion and successful commissioning.
